Penang Assam Laksa.. *drool*
Went the one at Sunway with my darling a couple of weeks back (were there for the Planetshakers concert - awesome http://www.planetshakers.com.au).
And we tried the assam laksa. Not too bad.
But i still miss the one at the Gasing pasar malam - cheap and yummy. That was in fact my first assam laksa. Before that i didn't really fancy this laksa dish from penang, probably due to the bunga kantan(?). But after that first taste, well, it wasn't that bad and i kinda liked it. And it had been assam laksa for dinner almost every Weds - the day of the pasar malam naturally!
It's not easy to find assam laksa in Melaka though. Nice ones lagi lar susah! Anyone knows of any good ones here?
