Wedding progress is slow but surely. Just collected the hotel cards this morning. Waiting now for the other cards which should be ready in a couple of days time. Then comes the headache - finalising the guests list!! Panadol pls!!!!!!!!!!
Wedding photos to be collected end of May. Before that would be the gown fitting, and of course of the bridesmaids too.
Another important thing would be the order of service booklet. Sigh... yet to finalise...!!! Oh and then those scanned photos.. yikes!!!

I can stop my reading for the year cos i've reached our average of two books per year. Anything beyond that would only spoil the market. We wouldn't want that now, do we?..
Ok, to the real topic. This book gives us a colourful and honest insight in our everyday life, about being a Malaysian, and being in Malaysia (as hinted in the title! duh!!)... things that i can certainly identify with. Love the way she writes, with a touch a sarcasm and humour. I actually smiled to myself reading it. Now how often can a book do that to you?! Highly recommended by yours truly.
When Chris and Stephanie were called to have the least votes, i just knew that Stephanie would be out. Chris who resembles a little like Justin Timberlake would sure to have garnered the votes from those adolescent girls. Plus he received positive comments from the judges. Can't help it since there were nothing to shout about his previous performances. Stephanie on the other hand performed rather well previously, so of course the judges expect more from her. Unfortunately her last performance didn't match their standards.
I thought Sanjaya should be voted off (getting bored of him) or at least Haley. She definitely got the votes from the guys (judging from the way she dressed and danced!). Smart girl. If you can't sing, woo them with your dressing!
My favourites for this season are Melinda Doolittle, Lakisha Jones (both are so humble and such good singers), Jordin Sparks, Stephanie Edwards (unfortunately she won't be around anymore). The guys this time around were no where compared to last year's (think Chris, Elliott Yamin..). But Blake Lewis is quite unique, and Chris is ok.
Finally!!!!!!!! After so very long we managed to catch a movie. And an excellent one too - 300.
300 (based on Frank Miller's graphic novel) is a recount of the great battle of Thermopylae, between 300 Spartans (led by the great King Leonidas) and Xerxes with his massive Persian army. The courage and loyalty of the Spartans soldiers are really to be admired. They were born to be fighters, grew up to be fighters, lived to be fighters... and a very fine one at that. It can be a gory film to those weak at heart. At the same time it's cool to watch them battle with superb strategy. Their women are worth mentioning as well... after all, they were the ones bearing and bringing to life these great Sparta men!
Go watch it you haven't done so. A truly incredible feast for the eyes. And i'm not just refering to the 'six-pack' (multiply by 300!!).
