Kingdom rich in culture, history, sacred sights, scenic wonders...

Off to Yangon middle of the week. Some might say "why myanmar?" but it's still a 'yay' for me! One good reason cos it's free, and i will 'yay' for anything outside msia!... yes, it's our end of the yr company trip again (more accurately end of the year meeting).

What i don't look forward to:
Completely cut-off from the world (and darling too) - no such thing as hps there!! sobs! will feel so lost!!
All the memorising, detailing, quiz, roleplay, blah blah blah!

What i do look forward to:
Discovering myanmar - the food, people, and everything local!
The gem market & the Bogyoke Aung San market.. shopping lar what else!
The Shwedagon Pagoda - said to be the most sacred Buddhist site here, where the locals long to visit at least once in their life, some called it one of the forgotten wonders...
Our annual gala dinner esp the advertisement break!! *grin*

Home during that one week...

p/s: I'm in a rather good mood today cos our financial yr just ended, phew! Plus, tmr's a public holiday (no sun evening blues today!). Tues will see us in the office - most likely discussing what to bring and stuff.. life is bliss... minus the memorising!

A day in the life of Pepper

Clumsily i climb up the bed and wake my daddy up
He pats me on the head "good morning little one"
I jump about in circles, wagging my long black tail
And rush to the kitchen for my early sunrise pee

I enjoy the dawning breeze from the kitchen door
While waiting for my breakfast of yummy wholemeal bread
I need to let it out after my energy boost
And off i go to the rear again for my morning nature call

I bid tata and was left alone to do as i please
But there is nothing much left to do when lonely as one can be
So i catch up with my cutie sleep on my plush sofa
While waiting for the clock up there to tick past by

Excited do i get when the evening roll-in by
And eagerly greet one by one as they stroll in by
Then came my dinner of nutritious doggie bites
Only eight spoonfuls and nothing more to keep my healthy bounce

Snacking, begging, napping, pouncing and barking too
Are some of the naughty things that i like to do
But with droopy ears and pitiful eyes, loveable i can surely be
That's how i got on with my way almost all the time!

Berhati-hati di jalan raya

She saw him standing there in the middle of the road trying to cross the busy street, but didn't take much notice. She was concentrating more on her right as this irritating lorry was not able to stick to its lane and was eating into her lane. So rightfully she went slightly to the left. Ooppsss... so close! She tot she hit tat poor guy (the one that was trying to cross the busy street). Phew...!!! Imagine... even if she would have touched him ever-so lightly, and he fell, and then mowed over by on-coming cars! Touch wood!! What an imagination!!!

I had a good day

Today's a good day. Got sales in almost all the calls i made plus one new account somemore! And a few sales by phone calls. How nice if everyday is as rosy as today. Eight more working days till closing...

My 1st ever commenter on my first ever blog-post: roch (who happens to be a passer-by).

My posts are diversified (at least i would like to think so) and ranges from a lone nursery rhyme, lyrics, bible verses, poems, review on food, movies & books,.. to Pepper. And there's that ever faithful reader during the period of American Idol 5 who never failed to share his two-cents worth - here's to 'jackmob' whose identity is still alien to me!!
